Some pieces I am proud of...
Hands--they work our whole life. And apostrophes are always fun to both write and interpret. Below is a poem referring to how I see each of my fingers, both literally and metaphorically. I have included the analytical portion of my own poem to explain some of the deeper concepts woven between the lines.
Deeper meaning surrounds us on every side, but literature connects itself in many ways to other pieces around itself. By comparing literature, I have found much deeper concepts hidden where I least expected it, such as the exploration of comparison in the essay below.
Creative forgery is one of my favorite impersonations--for once in my life I got to play doctor. Take a mentally disturbed character and give her a diagnosis was the goal, but not without sufficient evidence and graceful quote integration, which I believe was well achieved.
